On October 23rd I will be helping to lead a group from the South Florida National Parks Camera Club (SFNPCC) into the Everglades for some night time photography. Well, I didn't want to go in blind so I thought I would "work late at the office" last night to scout the area. It was a good trip and while the bugs are still around they are far less than they were just a few weeks ago.
It might not be the prime time to get shots of the Milky Way but some of the galactic arms are still visible.
If you think you might be interested in learning out to take these photographs and/or attending the SFNPCC Field Trip on October 23rd you can find out more about them here: www.sfnpcc.org.
